Cladistics is the idea that distinction of “object” and “class” is not necessary (ie, not most parsimonious), but instead that confusion of “object” and “class” suffices (ie, is most parsimonious). It thus disregards the fact that in order to confuse “object” and “class”, we must first distinguish them.
By this, cladistics confuses matters to the extent of making them almost impossible to be straightened out again. It enters an infinite loop between assumption and deduction that can’t be broken, ie, a paranoia.
The problem with this paranoia, besides being a paranoia, is that it is inconsistent. Confusion of “object” and “class” does not lead back to distinction of objects and classes, but to a paradox between “object” and “class” called Russell’s paradox. Confusion of addresses does not lead to a confusion of locations, but to a paradox between addreses and locations.
Cladistics is thus consistent conceptual confusion leading to Russell’s paradox.
