Fifth Freedom Now Customizes Your New Alerts
Fifth Freedom is a grassroots consumer organization out of Fort Wayne, IN. Their goal is for members to come together to obtain information that will help empower people with disabilities. They are a group that provides disability information and advocate change through community events and public issues forums.
They address many issues such as public transportation, affordable housing, special education and statewide disability laws. The network was formed with a grant from the Indiana Governor’s Planning Council for People with Disabilities. They offer disability information via their e-mails and they also offer advocacy training on disability issues.
Fifth Freedom has just announced that they are going to now customize each e-mail alert based on the area someone lives in and their interests.
