Mediafire power users will be ecstatic to hear that the service has finally made its way to the Android platform, as the first official app has been released on the Play Store. It’s safe to say that anyone who has used the internet to download a file has, at the very least, heard of Mediafire. In case you haven’t though, Mediafire allows users to upload a wide array of files to a cloud drive. Once it is uploaded to that cloud drive, a file can be shared with friends and family via a link.

If you’re a Dropbox user, Mediafire offers the exact same service. Which service you use all depends on your preference. It’s like asking, “Do you prefer hedges or bushes?”

You can download the app in the Google Play Store as long as your device is running Android 2.2 or higher. It is free to pick up and they are even giving you 50GB of storage. Not a bad deal if you have every other cloud storage app available and filling up. Go ahead and scan or clock the QR code down below to pick it up today.

Application: Mediafire
Developer: MediaFire
Cost: FREE
