Scosche Unveils boomBOTTLE Wireless, Mountable Speaker For Bicyclists
Bikers of the world may not always want to deal with the hassle (and potential danger) of wearing headphones while riding. Along those lines, there are many different bluetooth speakers small enough to be attached to your body or bike. At CES 2013, Scosche unveiled their new boomBOTTLE bluetooth speaker made specifically for attaching to your bike.
The IP4X splash proof casing, ultra-rugged speaker can pair to any device with bluetooth and blast tunes through its dual 40mm drivers and is said to produce louder and more rich music than competing devices thanks to a ported enclosure (for bass response). The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery is good for 10 hours of continuous playback and wireless range is rated at up to 33 feet. The boomBOTTLE also incorporates an integrated mic so that phone calls can be made/received while riding.
