It is app of the week time. This week we are taking a look at Glovebox. This is an Ubuntu style app launcher, that brings just a little bit of Ubuntu to statisfy you until you can actually use Ubuntu Touch. Even if you do not care for Ubuntu, this app makes multi-tasking a breeze.
Glovebox is simple to use. Once you install it, you simply go into the app and set up your app launcher. You get to pick your favorite apps, configure the touch area of the launcher, pick the the theme, and that is all. With the free version you will only be able to pick eight apps, and you will not be able to pick widgets to launch out of the app launcher. So if you are need of more apps, or want to utilize the widget launcher, pick up the premium Glovebox and you will be set.
The only real problem I might see with Glovebox is sometimes the touch area might overlap what is on your screen. It is not a huge deal whatsoever, and I know a lot of apps that do utilize that overlay have this problem. Did not really see that problem with Glovebox though. So check out my review of Glovebox below, and let us know how you like it. If you do decide to get the premium version. It loks like you will have to hit the premium button within the app.
