You can now very easily watch your favourite movies on the go using your iPad and your iPhone. The IMDb Movies & TV App has recently been updated so that it can easily integrate with Amazon’s Instant Video. What this in effect means is that some 25,000 odd films and TV Shows currently available through Amazon Prime are now just a key punch away from the Internet’s most comprehensive film and TV show database.
Amazon acquired IMDb way back in 2008, and since then it has gained a formidable reputation for its comprehensive collection of film facts. Just about any trivia or detail that you would ever need is available there – Dates, actors, directors and such information. Thus IMDb is a one-stop website for all you ever wanted to know about the world of film. Can’t remember the name of the film but recall the actors? Go to IMDb. With the latest update to the app you can also tap into the film right away.
Amazon Prime also has its own benefits. It charges a flat-rate $79 a year and then lets users enjoy the benefit of faster shipping speeds and no extra cost to get your hands on any film in the Amazon Instant Video. So the ideal solution for any movie buff would be to combine the offerings of both. Weekends will never be the same after that. You will require an installed version of Amazon Instant Video for the integration to work. Today’s updates include award information for all films and actors, including the 2012 Academy Awards which are almost here.
