The Nikon D7100 rolled out on Thursday, giving advanced photographers capabilities that until now were only found in the company’s highest-end DSLR cameras.
Aimed at discerning shooters that are not quite professionals, this lightweight 24.1-megapixel camera has a new image sensor that Nikon hasn’t used in any of its other cameras. That new CMOS imager brings with it a tremendous benefit: better low-light performance with a native ISO range of 100-6400.
