NEW YORK — Did you happen to catch the flick Real Steel? It’s a bit of hokum, but the giant, motion-controlled robots are beyond cool. Also very much beyond reality. At least I thought so. Now there’s a new arena game that lets you control — in a very limited way — pint-sized robots in a battle to the death, or at least temporary disability.
Takara Tomy’s new BattroBorgs, unveiled at the 2013 Toy Fair, are wireless, remote-control robots that can fight your battles.
