Datawind, maker of India’s Aakash tablets has been appearing on the recent headlines for all the wrong reasons. The Indian govt. officials are doubtful of Datawind’s capability to deliver the required number of tablets needed. But with a little break from the current events Datawind has released its latest tablet device, the UbiSlate 7C+ Edge.
Datawind’s UbiSlate 7C+ Edge was first spotted on Snapdeal marking a Rs. 5,999 price tag. This 7 inch tablet boasts a 800 * 480 resolution equipped capacitive display and the UbiSlate 7C+ Edge runs on a Cortex A8 processor featuring clock speed of 1 GHz alongside RAM of 4 GB. The UbiSlate 7C+ Edge offers 4GB internal storage along with MicroSD expansion up to 32 GB. This tablet offers only 2G EDGE along with Wi-Fi and USB support. The UbiSlate 7C+ Edge runs Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 and is powered by an 3,200 mAH battery.
