LG Optimus G Pro has been announced in South Korea, and it seems that LG plans to bring this smartphone to the US market in the second quarter of 2013.
LG Optimus G Pro comes with 1.7-inch Qualcomm SnapDragon 600 1.7GHz processor and 2GB of RAM. This device comes with 5.5-inch IPS LCD display that uses 1920×1080 Full HD resolution and 400ppi pixel density. In addition, this smartphone uses 13 Megapixel main camera with LED flash and a 2.1 Megapixel front-facing camera for video calls, and both of them can record Full HD video. In addition, you can also use Dual Recording function, and you can capture video with both cameras at the same time for a picture-in-picture experience.
VR Panorama feature is similar to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean’s PhotoSphere and you can use to shoot entire horizontal and vertical environments for a full 360 view. Additional features include Bluetooth, WiFi, microSD card slot, wireless charging, along with improved LG’s UI and enhanced QSlide, Live Zooming and QuickMemo features. As for the thickness, this phone is 9.4mm thick, so it will fit nicely in your pocket.
Sadly, we have no information on pricing, but we expect to see LG Optimus G Pro available in the US someday in Q2.
