Samsung Chromebook, released last year, was a great product for those who spend most of their time on computer using web-based services. Although it was especially designed for web-products, it didn’t capture them all. A glaring example was Netflix.
Now Google has come out with announcement that Netflix is coming to its Chromebook. The web search giant has signed a contract with both Netflix and Microsoft to enable HTML5 streaming on its ARM-based machine.
This is the first time Netflix is using HTML5 streaming instead of Silverlight. Companies have been mooted on what lies ahead, weather this service will spread to devices.
As for Chromebook users, they only need to go to the Netflix website and log in to enjoy video content.
