The first obvious difference between the Apple iPhone 5 and the Nokia Lumia 920 is the larger display of the Lumia 920 compared to the iPhone 5, also, the high-definition screen display on the Nokia Lumia 920 is stunning compared to the iPhone 5. Take a look at these comparisons:

This is a screenshot of (from left to right) Apple iPhone 4s, HTC One X, and Nokia Lumia 900. We are comparing iPhone 5 and Lumia 920 but this should give you an idea about the quality compared between Apple and Nokia.
There is no arguing that Nokia wins in the LCD display competition, hands down. However there are distinct physical differences the consumer should consider. For instance the Nokia Lumia 920 display is 4.5″ and the iPhone 5 is about 4″ across. The overall size of the Lumia 920 might be a little annoying as it is definitely larger and heavier than the iPhone 5 (about 73 grams heavier).
Both phones are equal in speed, and both have superb viewing angles from all sides.
The new Nokia Lumia 920 allows the user to operate the display using gloves, pens and other objects unlike the old Lumia 900, which is a perk especially in cold climate situations.
All in all the Nokia Lumia 920 is winning the hearts and minds of the consumer, there is a large up-trend of buyers of the Lumia 920, and the iPhone 5 is facing a very steep decline from where it once was a few months ago. Granted, iPhones are still popular, but Apple is losing the popularity contest fast.
