Philips Turns Pane of Glass Into a 3D TV

Philips has launched a new line of TVs called DesignLine, and they’re definitely very different from most other TVs on the market
Aiming to create an “object of desire” rather than just another TV, Philips’ designers have created a TV that looks like a seamless sheet of glass with a black gradient
And when we say “seamless,” we mean it: there is no stand, no visible frame (when the TV is off), and the TV is meant to simply be leaned against the wall
We’re a bit worried what effect will the inevitable cabling have on the visual impression of the device, but even with that in mind the Philips DesignLine TV will give a dash of glamour to almost any ambiance
