Samsung announces Samsung Galaxy S4

We already covered all sorts of leaked information about Samsung Galaxy S4, and now we’re pleased to inform you that Samsung Galaxy S4 has been announced, so let’s have a closer look at it.

Samsung Galaxy S4 uses five-inch Super Amoled display that runs on 1,920×1,080 pixel resolution with 441 pixels-per-inch pixel density. As for the hardware specs, the European S4 version should use eight-core 1.6GHz CPU, while other versions should run on quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.9GHz CPU, but according to the Samsung, performance should be same, despite the used processor.

There’s also 2GB of RAM, up to 64GB storage and 4G LTE support up to 100Mbps down and 50Mbps up. Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with 13-megapixel camera on the back and two-megapixel camera on the front side. We have to mention that Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with some new features such as picture-in-picture video recording, Smart Pause that tracks your eyes and pauses the video if you move your eyes away from the screen.

This phone also uses modified capacitive touchscreen, so it can recognize the fingertips up to two centimeters away the screen. There’s also a pedometer, so you can easily track walking and running distance with it. As for the software, S4 runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

Samsung Galaxy S4 is an amazing smartphone, however, there’s no information about pricing, but as for availability, we should see it someday in Q2.
