Update prepped for Motorola DROID RAZR HD and RAZR MAXX HD
Good news for all you Motorola DROID RAZR HD and RAZR MAXX HD owners out there. Verizon just released info on an upcoming update which will bring your device to build to 9.16.6. Sadly, this update isn’t Android 4.2.2, but with the fixes included this update may make your device feel like new. The most notable updates include better Wi-Fi connectivity, improved camera, in-call audio, media sync, and better video streaming. There is also a security fix with this update so root users may want to wait for developers to tweak the update themselves. However if you’re the adventurous type do let us know if the update breaks your root in the comments below.
Once Verizon approves an update it usually takes about 1-2 weeks for it to start rolling out so keep an eye out.
