While watching the live feed of Google I/O 2013 (still bummed I couldn’t go) I saw them demo a game on Google Chrome. This game is called Racer. It is the same concept as the slot car racing games because it allows you to go as fast as you want by tapping and holding down on your screen.
Now this wouldn’t be Google if it didn’t do something cool, well if you check out the video below I think you will smile and try it out right away:
That’s right, this game can be played across multiple devices that can run the Chrome browser. Be it an iPhone or Android device the game can be played by anyone and is amazingly fun. It is really simple to set this up, all you need is about 5 devices, less is fine but 5 gives you that awesome feeling, and just go into Chrome browser and type in the url (link below). After that everything you can either join a race or start your own.
Since this game is meant to be shared it is easy to join a race as well once a race is started you are given a code (image above) then everyone who wants to join the race just enters it in their device and you are good to go. Pretty damn awesome and something I will be showing off to my non-techie friends as I’m sure you will to. So share this article and get everyone into a gaming and sharing mood. As Google said live, laugh, love, and with this game I think that will definitely be possible.
