Google+ Hangouts App live in the Play Store

We all know you are just as eager to start playing with new things as fast you can. We are sure you just updated Google Music and are playing around with Google Search. How about the new Hangout app? Well, it is out now too.

The new Hangouts app brings in group messaging, video calls, video conferencing and so much more. They stay in sync across multiple devices, get only ONE notification across your devices to the one you are actually using at the time. It does a bunch.

On a side note. The app name is the same, on the resource naming for the icon. So if you are using a theme or icon pack, your icon won’t update. At least that is what I am seeing and understanding. Unless the icon just didn’t get pushed through correctly. Go snag the app in the Play Store and see what you think.

If you are having issues getting it install, or it just says ‘OPEN’ and still takes your to the original talk app, then download the Hangouts APK file HERE . Seems to have solved two of our team members issues.
