(Before It's News)

Intel has been working with Apple for years, and now it seems that this CPU manufacturer is planning to focus on Chromebook devices as well.

New lineup of Chromebooks has been announced, and these Chromebooks will use Intel’s Haswell processor thus gaining greater performance as well as increased battery life. Thanks to these new processors, battery life will be doubled compared to previous generations. As for manufactures, Acer, ASUS, Toshiba and HP should manufacture these new Chromebooks. Acer’s new Chromebooks are described as light and portable, and HP’s new Chromebook 14 will offer larger display and it will be available in various colors. Toshiba and Asus are new Chromebook manufacturers, and as far as we know, Asus is working on a device called Chromebox that should work as a lightweight PC.

New Chromebooks will offer improved performance and extended battery life, and we expect to see these Chromebooks soon in the future, but so far, there’s no information regarding the price.
