Wii U gets a Game Bundle Featuring Mario and Luigi
Nintendo picks up the pace and has plans of releasing a game bundle with the Wii U. The game bundle was announced on Wednesday and will be part of the Wii U Deluxe Set. It will contain Super Mario Bros. U and Super Luigi U., which are two of the platforms most popular franchise titles. All games will come on a single disc and the console will have a price tag of $300.
Wii U was launched last year and Nintendo has released a deluxe set bundle that is part of Nintendo Land. This new bundle will replace the previous set of games and Nintendo states that it will sell Nintendo land for $29.99 after it is replaced officially.
Nintendo has been overshadowed by the Xbox 360 and PS3 and has lost most of its customers to the powerful consoles that offer exciting game titles. The bundle is Nintendo’s attempt to get back in action and take Microsoft and Sony head on. The sales of the Wii U have increased since Nintendo dropped its price. With the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 scheduled to be released next month, Nintendo’s new game bundle may help them prepare for the next generation console battle.
