Soon after rolling out 4.4.1 update for the Nexus 5 last week, Google is introducing next update. This time the Android 4.4.2 update has been rolled out on all Nexus devices (Nexus 4, 5, 7 and 10).
The 4.4.2 update focuses on camera improvements which is a bit confusing because the previous one also enhanced camera quality, image stability and others. However, this new version seems to be also clearing the VM Indicator, fix for delivery of the VM Indicator, various additional software fixes and security enhancements.
Google has yet to make any official announcements regarding this update, but Sprint today announced that an update to build KOT49H is being released. Many users across the internet were reporting issues loading Android 4.4.1 on their Nexus devices. If you find problems with Android 4.4.1 or have not updated it yet, Android 4.4.2 should be coming to your Nexus device over-the-air any time now.
Android Police has displayed links of this latest 4.4.2 update to all the above mentioned Nexus devices. So instead of waiting for the update to knock your device, you can manually download it.
Have you seen the update for your Nexus device yet? Is there any difference from the earlier version? Share with us your thoughts in the comments.
