Moto X Update Sees Festive Boot Animation and Active Display Fix
The Moto X was updated to Android 4.4 KitKat a few weeks ago, but apparently after the chocolatey update was loaded up on devices, there were some issues when it came to the Active Display. Users reported getting some lags when utilizing Active Display, so Motorola pushed an update to Active Display in the Play Store to remedy those lags. Now if you are on KitKat, you shouldn’t be suffering from those bugs anymore.
Motorola also wanted to get festive for the holiday season, by rolling out a silent update that adds a holiday boot animation to the phone. This was already added to the Moto G, so why not let the big brother have it as well. I guess the Christmas-like boot animation will start being seen tomorrow, December 10th, so if you are a Moto X user, don’t be freaked out when you see it. Just wish yourself a Merry Christmas.
