With my recent postings on fossil human remains I just thought I should stop here and reiterate the view that it looks very much like there is a distinct break in the family line presumed to show human evolution, and that break tends to emphasize that all of the humans (All fossils belonging to Homo) are of one kind that is similar to each other individually but different entirely from the other ones that went before (Australopithecines) And along with that, please allow me to state that from the new fossil material, “Homo habilis” from Olduvai gorge seems conspecific with Australopithecus sediba, which is to say it is a species of Australopithecus rather than a species of Homo.
