I bought Skydog a few weeks ago to manage my growing home network.
Skydog is an appliance that connects to your existing network and enables you to manage your entire network. You can filter web traffic, assign bandwidth to users, setup various zones (for maybe guests, or other purposes).
If you have a small home network or a small corporate network, you’ll want an easy to manage solution that you or an admin can manage.
Skydog is $149, with a 3 year subscription to it’s online management service.
I took the appliance out of the box, connected it to my router (Verizon Fios) and was up and running in a few minutes. The support is pretty good, with easy to understand videos liberally sprinkled through the interface.
