LG Optimus L Series II gets the “KnockON” treatment

Remember that “KnockON” feature that LG first introduced on their G2 phone? Well, LG decided it’s too useful not to expand it to their mid-range Android phones as well.

“KnockON” allows you to sleep or wake your smartphone simply by doing a double tap (or knock) on the screen. This will greatly extend the life of your Power button since you don’t have to press it when using KnockON.

This user-friendly feature will make its way to the mid-range Optimus L Series II smartphones this month through a global maintenance release so watch out for it soon.
