Sri Lanka’s RS Group to supply Norway’s Graphene Batteries with graphene oxide

Sri-Lanka’s RS Group says that they have been chosen to be the graphite supplier for Norway’s Graphene Batteries, a startup that develops graphene-based Li-Ion battery electrodes.

Graphene Batteries reportedly tested over 50 types of graphite before choosing RS Group’s graphite. The RS Group is offering high quality natural graphite at $16,000 per ton. The RS Group will start scaling up their GO production to supply to Graphene Batteries and other customers. The RS Group, together with GS International also aims to become a research partner to Graphene Batteries.
