(Before It's News)

In this interview, Paul Burley, author of 'Stonehenge: As Above, So Below', explores the ancient symbolism of the enigmatic stone circle in Wiltshire, England, and explains how this symbolism, which can be traced back many millennia and across many cultures around the world, provides a context with which to understand the real purpose of Stonehenge.  Paul Burley discusses the relationship between Stonehenge and various astronomical phenomena, explaining how and why it is associated with key star constellations, and offers a new perspective for understanding this mysterious ancient site.

Note: At some points during the interview, technical difficulties resulted in some disruption to the audio recording. We apologise for this inconvenience.

  • Stonehenge “measures the sky” but also reflects a measurement of the earth, as it incorporates ancient units of measure into its own design – and the units of measure themselves were based on accurate measurements of the earth, similar to the French creation of the meter. The same units of measure were possessed by a global civilization in the distant past, for they were used in Mexico and Egypt too. Read Michell’s “The Dimensions of Paradise” and Lemesurier’s “The Great Pyramid Decoded” for more details on such measurement systems. But if you want to know what such monuments were built to warn us about, read my own “End Times and 2019″

Stonehenge was incorrectly rebuilt in the 1950s. Google it. Any analysis it this video is flawed.
