Sir Terry Pratchett, renowned fantasy author, dies aged 66
Fantasy author Terry Pratchett has died aged 66, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

The author died at home “with his cat sleeping on his bed, surrounded by his family,” Mr Finlay said.
Few people have no opinion on his work, one way or the other.
I found his work mixed, lovely concepts such as a line of time crackling across the countryside as time corrects, DEATH had a problem. I tend to think of him as similar to Douglas Adams, another early loss.
Long ago I had reason for an email conversation with Pratchett, this was before Internet email for most people, he was very up on technology. His intitial response was more than guarded, trouble was I had no idea who he was, apparently he sometimes had bother. This led to a puzzled initial conversation, no problem thereafter.
