Children wasting away as hunger hits 200,000 in Madagascar. In villages across the southern part of the world’s fourth biggest island, a months-long drought ravaged last season’s crops.

 

Population increases flood and drought threat to cities. Scientists predict a huge increase in urban land vulnerable either to flooding or drought by 2030 due to growing population.
