Microvision reported their financial result for Q4 2014 with $0.7 million in revenue (down from $1.2 million in Q4 2013). For the full year 2014, Microvision generated $3.5 million in revenues (down from $5.9 million in 2013) and lost $18.1 million (up from $13.2 million in 2013, but 2014 included $5 million loss on exchange of warrants). In the end of 2014, Microvision had $8.3 million in cash.
Microvision sees a strong momentum building into 2015. The company expects a large ($8 million) license payment with Sony, and the beginning of a commercial rollout of Sony’s PicoP enabled display module. The company also has a pipeline of opportunities, and two consumer products launched in early 2015. All-in-all, Microvision expects 2015 to be a “transformational year”.
