Conclusion: Prehistoric human beings made Staffa Island in Scotland 50 million years ago (note 1). Staffa Island consists almost entirely of “basalt columns” (note 2) , which were actually concrete columns as evidenced in https://www.flickr.com/photos/fossil_lin/16415031036/
