Google has a lot of power to offer promotions at will. This ability, and desire to bring in new users, is a sure-fire way to show users the power of the Play Store. If you are in the mood for a quick flick to help you get through the mid-week blues, or possibly prep for a date later this weekend on the couch, Google has your back. Right now through April 16th of 2016, you can redeem a free movie rental from Google, assuming you have a Chromecast device. The offer isn’t packed full of ancient flicks either. The line up carries 61 movies such as American Sniper, Focus, Seventh Son, Jupiter Ascending, Iron Man 3, Lucy, McFarland USA, Despicable Me 2 and more.
Jurassic park is still one of my favorite movies and with Jurassic World coming out on Friday, I figured it would be worth watching once again. To redeem your free movie rental you will need to head to the Chromecast offers page, connect your Chromecast device and then hit the free movie rental tile. From there you can choose any movie you want from this list and have at it. Just remember, you have 30 days to start watching your rental, but just 48 hours of actual watch time. There are some exceptions from time to time that relates to the studio or movie though. Either way, a free movie for the night is worth grabbing.
