Scientists are more like carpenters and bricklayers than priests

(Before It's News)

Scientists are like students trying to find out what the master means, instead of listening to what (s)he says. It is just as if they think that the truth resides in the meaning instead of in the words. The peculiar aspect with this approach is that if they are right, then every answer leads to the same question.

Scientists are thus wrong if they are right (ie, caught in an infinite circle). Their goal (ie, the truth) is actually a running point.

Science is thus actually merely a practical way to handle reality. It can manipulate reality, but it can’t find the truth. Scientists are thus more like carpenters and bricklayers than priests.
