If you are not using ad blockers while browsing websites on your mobile phones, start using it immediately. The New York Times tested web pages on iPhones turning on ad blockers like Crystal and Purify.

The media house tested about fifty news websites and found the home page of Boston.com measured 19.4 megabytes without the use of ad blocker and was reduced to just 4 megabytes after using the blocking apps.

The difference is huge and it will save much of data, hence much of money too.

NYT writes in its report the load time is also reduced with ad blockers offering better browsing experience. It saved battery life too.
