Facebook CEO Was At Taj Mahal In Low Profile Visit; To Address IIT Students In Town Hall Tomorrow

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg visited Taj Mahal in Indian city of Agra on Tuesday, October 27, with seven of his colleagues. Later, at around 4:20 p.m. local time (GMT +5:30) he posted a snap of him sitting on the east side of the magnificent structure.
His post read, “I’m in India for our Townhall Q&A tomorrow, and I decided to visit the Taj Mahal. I’ve always wanted to see this.
It is even more stunning than I expected. It’s incredible what people can build — and what love can motivate us to build.”
Within seven minutes of Zuckerberg’s post on Facebook, the page got flooded with more than 2,000 comments, 22,000 likes and 435 shares.
Zuckerberg’s visit to Taj Mahal has been confirmed by Image Public Relation Pvt Limited, the company that handles public relation of the social giant in India.
The company said, “Yes, CEO of Facebook did visited Taj Mahal on Tuesday.”
Meanwhile, Archaeological Survey of India conservation assistant, Ram Ratan, said they have no information about Zuckerberg’s visit to Taj Mahal and this may be due to he may have wanted to make it low profile to avoid unnecessary attention.
The CISF official source added Zuckerberg may have walked down in long queue of security check to enter Taj Mahal just like an ordinary tourist as no one knew about his visit.
Besides all these, Zuckerberg is said to be visiting IIT Delhi tomorrow to interact with faculty and students at its town hall.
