Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reported to be addressing seventeen rallies in coming six days in Bihar and just ahead of three phases of assembly elections.
The rallies are scheduled from tomorrow and party sources say in each of the remaining phases the PM will address about seven to eight rallies.
The opposition grand alliance meanwhile has build up a different story for the absence of Modi in about nine days from campaigning. They said the poor performance of BJP in the first two phases of elections was the reason.
However, earlier this week, BJP has rejected the charge at a press brief in state capital Bihar.
BJP chief Amit Shah said, “There is a big gap in the elections, there are so many festivals…no rallies have been curtailed.”
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad said the BJP is bringing Hema Malini to pin the loss.
Until now Modi has addressed nine rallies in Bihar and if the upcoming rallies are to be added the total number of campaigns to count 26, which is more than the total number of Modi’s campaign in Maharashtra.
Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said BJP does not have a leader and so the party is seeking votes in the name of Modi.
