In an interview Bihar BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi said only a Bihari can become the Chief Minister of the state after the polls scheduled to be held between October 12 and November 8. He said none leader from Gujarat, UP or even from Italy can take the post.
Asked about declaring the CM candidate he said the party even didn’t announce it in Maharashtra, Haryana and Jharkhand election.
About the caste vote Modi said the grand alliance has divided their work as Nitish is talking about development and is playing the caste vote. Both are living in the 90s and they don’t know the state has moved ahead.
Modi added the kind of casteism spread by Lalu is not acceptable as he is naming particular caste. Instead development should be talked as the youth wants development.
There are 250 castes and all need proportional representation. In Dalit itself there are 34 castes and it is true no party can satisfy every caste.
Talking about the division of seats he said the BJP has given 30 seats to extremely backward classes where as the alliance has given only 22 seats to such segment. There are 140 extremely backward class groups in the state.
About change in Bihar the leader said Nitish has ruined the state in past 25 months and has put brakes on the development. In the period he has not even announced a single new scheme.
He also challenged Nitish Kumar to show him at least one new scheme that was announced in past about two years.
