NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity acquired this photo with her left Mast Camera on Nov. 14, 2015 (Mission Sol 1163) in Gale Crater, Mars. Red lines mark blood vessel remains found on the deck of the rover. The blood vessel remains have been magnified by about 250%, as the above image has been enlarged 150% frommars.nasa.gov/msl/multimedia/raw/?rawid=1163ML00526100005…

Added on Nov. 16, 2015: Reasons for the identification
For explanation, the above-mentioned photo is marked again as follows:

Red, yellow and blue lines go to remains of blood vessels found on the deck of the rover. Red lines mark right angles. Yellow lines mark branches. Blue lines mark curves. Red circle contains fossil-like material. Green arrow marks wind-blown dusts partially covering the blood vessel remains. In view of these features, the material is unlikely to be scratch marks or rock minerals or abiogenic dusts. Magnification: approximately 250%. Image source: see first figure.

Five years ago when I was taking the above photo (notes 1, 2) of a meteorite, I used my hand to touch the blood vessel remains. Upon my very gentle touch, the blood vessel remains flew off. That demonstrated the blood vessel remains are very light weight. Under the microscope, these blood vessel remains resemble those found on the deck of Mars Curiosity rover. Blood vessels on Earth range from 3 micrometers to 3 centimeters in diameter.
