Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal alleged Tuesday a Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) official had asked a woman for sex if she wanted her son to be selected for a Delhi team.
Kejriwal said in an exclusive interview with Barkha Dutt for NDTV, “A senior journalist came to me and said his wife was asked to come for sex in return for selection of his son in the cricket team.”
The CM however didn’t name the journalist. He even didn’t offer any evidence to support his allegation. He mentioned there were some other major wrong things too in the DDCA.
Currently Kejriwal’s government and Centre are in the middle of a fierce political row.
Kejriwal and his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have been lately alleging the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley presided over massive corruption when he was the chief of DDCA for 13 years till 2013. The corruption included fudget accounts, forgery, fake deals and also conflict of interest.
Jaitley meanwhile has denied all such allegations and in return has sued Kejriwal and several other leaders of his party for defamation.
Talking to Dutt further on the issue Kejriwal said he is not scared of any inquiries against him including the CBI as he and his government have not done anything wrong in DDCA.
