PayPal’s Bill Ready to Keynote ETA’s TRANSACT 16
Washington, D.C. – The Electronic Transactions Association (ETA), the global trade association representing the payments technology world, announced its first keynote speaker for “TRANSACT 16™: Powered by ETA.” Bill Ready, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Product and Engineering at PayPal, will deliver insights on building a global payments platform to more than 4,000 payments and technology professionals in the TRANSACT 16 audience. As PayPal’s Global Head of Product & Engineering, Ready is responsible for PayPal’s checkout experiences, Braintree, Venmo and building out an end-to-end platform designed for the future of commerce in-store, online and in-app. Bill came to PayPal with the acquisition of Braintree in 2013, where, as CEO, he and his team fueled the mobile commerce revolution by building one of the most innovative and influential startups in the payments industry – powering a number of the next-gen commerce players. Founded in 1998, PayPal continues to be at the forefront of the digital payments revolution. Last year the company processed 4 billion payments, of which 1 billion were made on mobile devices.
