On the problem with the idea of a single truth

(Before It's News)

The question whether there is a single truth or not is brought to its head in biological systematics, in the controversy between cladistic classification and Linnean systematics. If there indeed is a single truth, then Linnean systematics is  superfluous complicated, since this truth just as well could have been found by the much simpler cladistic classification, but the cladistic classification is contradictory.

The answer to this question (ie, whether there is a single truth or not) is thus that there isn’t any, because if there had been one, then it could have been found by a contradictory classification.

Fact is thus that we have to accept that there isn’t any single truth.
