The cladistic search for “the true tre of life” is endless

(Before It's News)

The difference between cladistic and Linnean classification is simply that the former is inconsistent, whereas the latter is consistent. These facts have nothing to do with whether a particular dichotomous branching process is “true” or not, but just with the fact that objects and their properties are fundamentally orthogonal (see Russell’s paradox).

This difference means that there is no consistent solution (of anything) for cladistic classification, whereas there are several consistent solutions (of everything) for Linnean classification.

The cladistic search for “the true tre of life” is thus endless, simply because there isn’t any such “tree”, ie, evolution can’t be consistently described as a (dichotomous branching) “tree of life”. Instead, we have to classify “life” using an orthogonal system of classification, like the Linnean system, to avoid contradiction.
