Friday Smackdown: The Fin Cutters
It rose, within a wave, and the shrieks were muffled but a second before the water shed from the five orifices, gasping the air and wrenching the deepest guttural sounds ever heard. We readied our blades, we steadied our base and triggered the liquid that would slay the beast with the oil of these links.
Hendrik Visser – A unique cel shade, vector-ish style in his latest character and scene work, and sketch concepts loaded with texture and color.
Rogue One – A Star Wars Story. The teaser trailer. Hands down one of my favorite trailers of all time. More. of. this.
Rainbow Wasps – When paper wasps get colored construction paper to build their nest, you would wouldn’t believe what they do. Quite beautiful.
Spintop Snipers – Imagine being so good at spinning a top, that you could fling it out and hit any target you want. Pretty sure this is going to be a new future hobby of mine.
Ostensibly Ordinary Pyongyang – The photos you see when a photographer takes a tour of North Korea and photographs what he sees and makes it out with all the photos.
Camp Gear – I dunno. Sometimes I just enjoy looking at well made, vintage style camping gear, like this from Kaufmann Mercantile.
A Small Escape – I bet if you were a pair of scissors stuck in a kitchen all day, you would want to escape too.
Lazereth LM847 – What this? This is a motorcycle with a 4.7L V8 Maserati engine powering it–rought 470HP, and it’s all yours for the price of $217,000.
City Lock – Beware a bum with a sound system? I guess. Let’s get things bumpin’ for the weekend.
