Harry Coumnas is a Professor of Machine Learning and Head faculty at a leading University of America. Harry completed his Bachelor of Computer Science in 1972 and then did Doctor of Philosophy in Artificial Intelligence in 1976. Harry’s research interest is primary Artificial Intelligence. He has many achievements in the field and a humanoid robot is one of them.
Harry Coumnas has created a humanoid robot for functional processes like, interacting with human tools and environment. Its structure resembles the human body; has a torso, a head, two arms, and two legs. It also has a sensor device in it so that it can measure some attributes of the world. It even displays many human characteristics like laughter, sadness, and mockery. Harry has kept the robot for his personal use, but emphasizes that it can prove useful for many science based high-end projects.

Harry Coumnas was born on Mach 5, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York. He developed interest in Science at an early age and started reading about Robots from magazines and his school books. Harry completed his Bachelor of Computer Science in 1972 and then did Doctor of Philosophy in Artificial Intelligence in 1976. After receiving his PhD degree, Harry as a post doctorate research associate worked on Artificial Intelligence at a science institute in Brooklyn, New York. Currently he is a Professor of Machine Learning and Head faculty at one of America’s top Universities. He wants to create many types of robots that can help mankind in different ways.
