Xiaomi is launching its newest version of budget smartphone, the Redmi 4A, on April 3. It is a ‘Made in India’ phone and is priced tagged just Rs 5,999.
Sporting a 2GB RAM and 16GB of onboard storage, the Redmi 4A comes in three color options – Gold, Rose Gold and Dark Grey. The phone’s storage is expandable to 128GB.
Redmi 4A is not a successor of Redmi 3S and is mounted with a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. It sports a 5-inch HD LCD IPS display offering a resolution of 720p. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdrgaon 425 quad-core processor at 1.4Ghz and Adreno 308 GPU. The phone is fueled by a 3120 mAh battery. It comes with Android 6.0 with MIUI8.
The phone looks more like other Redmi phones and sports a plastic unibody design unlike metal unibody of Redmi 3S that is priced tagged Rs 6,999.
The phone is learned to offer a good grip and comes with decent speakers at the rear side similar to the Redmi Note 3.
Redmi 4A xupports micro-USB port for charging and comes with IR blaster to control compatible home devices like television sets, fans, air conditioners and set-up boxes.
