Bhangra Night enthralls DLF Gardencity residents

Gurgaon : DLF Gardencity came alive with an exhilarating ‘Bhangra Night’ organized to celebrate the joyful spirit of Baisakhi. The event was held at DLF Gardencity Sports Complex, Sector 91 in Gurgaon.

The theme of the event was quintessentially based on Punjabi rural milieu with a view to render unique and memorable experience tothe residents.

The main highlight of the evening was scintillating performancesby a professional Punjabi dance troupe, which involved people of all age groups in energetically dancing to the reverberating bhangra beats. There were engaging games for adults and children alike, while a dedicated zone had been created for tiny-tots.

The evening was a delight for the foodies as a scrumptious menu with mouth-watering street foodwas laid out for the occasion.

Baisakhi celebrations at DLF Gardencity

“I would like to thank the DLF Gardencity team for organizing a program on the occasion of Baisakhi. The Bhangra performances were stellar while live Punjabi music kept everyone thoroughly entertained,” said Mr. Deepak Aggarwal, a resident of DLF Gardencity.

“I was spellbound by the rustic decor and ambiance which nostalgically reminded us of our village. This event truly celebrated the spirit of Baisakhi marked by traditional dance form and music. We look forward to more such events being organized in future,” said Ms. Sushma Bhutani, another resident of DLF Gardencity.

“The auspicious festival of Baisakhi is associated with the spirit of joy and prosperity. It was heartening to see that residents turned up in large numbers to actively participate in the celebrations. We were delighted at the sight of residents merrily mixing up with each other.
