Simple Survival Gear Mods – The Wrap

One of the easiest gear mods that anyone can make is the wrap. Just about anything in your survival kit, GHB (get home bag) or your BOB can be enhanced with the wrap. While paracord is probably the most popular item used for the wrap, things like electrical tape and duct tape are also easy to use to make a wrap. The wrap can also be accomplished with snare wire, fishing line or even dental floss. The trick is to use every available option to give you a better chance of survival. Nobody really knows what seemingly insignificant part of your survival gear may give the edge you need to survive.
