We Don’t Need A Resolution

(Before It's News)

As 2012 comes to close, we are all pulling out those pens, papers, iPads, vision boards to make a bold declaration of what we will and won’t do for 2013. We all know them….New Year’s Resolutions. I’m no Scrooge, but I’m tired of resolutions. They usually mean nothing more than something we will try for the first quarter of the year and then let subside for the remainder of the year. By definition, a resolution is a firm decision to do or not to do something. Although I don’t agree with “resolutions” anymore, here are a few I would have in no specific ranking. Feel free to share yours too.

Get Back In Shape

Like so many of us, the last few months of the year always prove to be a challenge at work. From birthday celebrations, to work spreads and holidays with several cakes and pies….I need to get back on track, lol. Now that the holiday eating season is mostly behind us, I think it will be easier for everyone to get a grip on their eating. I will still continue to go to the gym, but at least I won’t have to go with the motivation of burning off so many calories from what I ate the night before. Side note: Does anybody else notice how gyms are packed at the first of the year and the people working out decrease towards the end of the year? Or even take a given week. Most gyms are packed Mondays…..but on Fridays….not so much.
