I figured it’s about time to blog again. There is not to much happening , in the pictures you can see me and what I do best in the winter time. It’s pretty fun work except when you have trees on a steep side hill then the traction can get a little tricky. I had to go into Republic the other day and there is hardly a time I don’t see deer wondering around town. I can tell spring is just around the corner because the ice cycles on the cabin are only four feet long instead of seven. It actually sprinkled a little today but up on the mountain rain turns our foot of snow into a gob of mush. I got stuck in the drive way yesterday and then when I started to back up the truck started sliding sideways. Luckily I dumped a load of fines by the gate. I ended up having to throw a couple shovel loads in front of the tires for traction. Who ever invents a set of chain’s for tires that work well and can be put on with one hand, would make a billion dollars and I would buy the first set, Or better yet a spray that one could spray on the tires that would give you the same traction as chain’s. Did I mention I hate putting on chain’s. If I could put them on and leave them on it would be great but right now I still have a foot of snow and at the bottom of the mountain the roads are snow and ice free. O.K. I’m done complaining now.So my friends, until next time stay safe and let God lead you into his many blessings. Bob & Carol
