Don’t Trust Your Eyes, right?
Sometimes something comes along as we research topics and ideas to share with you that makes us stop and think. This post is one of those. It’s amazing how the human brain works. I know this is not news to you. Don’t trust your eyes. For example, I remember seeing a sentence that looked something like this somewhere before “Cn yu rad his?” and it talked about how the brain can still make sense of that even though ettrs re msing. Got you again 
So when we found this blog article about something quite different but still the same, it intrigued us and we thought we’d share it because, well, it’s pretty cool. So what you saw on the Facebook page post wasn’t someone’s attempt to copy the beginning of a Twilight Zone televison show ( I date myself here), but instead it was our brain putting a puzzle together from pieces to make a whole.
So what we are actually looking at is a hall that’s been painted by Swiss artist Felice Varini in such a way that our brain fills in the gaps and an optical illusion is created.
This is how our brain interprets the painted hall. Weird and cool at the same time.

So does this idea apply to self reliance, survival preparedness, homesteading? Maybe, how about hidden doors to hidden rooms for instance.
