A day off finally
Lots of little things been going on that all add up to long days and no break. Between chasing cows all over the countryside, fixing fence, cutting, raking and baling hay, chasing cows again, normal farm chores every day, a mystery flat tire, sleeping thru the alarm clock and the part time off farm job, I feel like I need a vacation.
The good news is the new plumber only added a couple small things to the list and I’ll be picking up the supplies this week. The photo place called, the machine is fixed, my pictures will be ready around noon today! Now all I need to do is find an element for the old stove so I can get stuff made up for this weeks market and try to make up what I lost last week. Some last minute cheese making so the perk boxes (from the crowdfund for the farm and the kitchen build) have fresh cheese, a trip to the post office and we’re good to go! I need some gas for the push mower and today is going to be a full day! Huh, this is supposed to be a day off, yah right, LOL Oh, and one of these days, I need to clean up the summer garden and get the fall planting going! Guess I’ll pencil that in for when I should be sleeping, who needs sleep, right?
